I'm not much of a morning music person, I like the twists and curves of the night which I hardly find in morning music. Sometimes the psychedelia seems to be lost especially with full on mornings that make you dance of course but bringing in that essence of complexity into the multi layered sounds is a big turn on for me.
So when I saw the album “Snap, Crackle and Drop” with a title saying Morning Monsters I was like hmm, lets check the tracks electrypnose not bad, a few others that recently launched albums like Haltya, a couple of of older artists and a mix of new. But the moment you put it on ad tune into electypnose's first track you will see that this album is a monster.
From the very robotic start this album will make you twist and bed your body with some uplifting twisted morning sounds. A special mention to the track by Haltya – Spagu is one of the tracks that bring a smile on my face. Ducks on mars has some nice sounds build ups and a good number to flow on the dance floor with.
Texas Faggot's Wedding mach which is a make over of the popular wedding song is kind of a disappointment in a way. I hardly find it to be psychedelic but its fun. But its kind of a misfit on this monstrous album. Tripples by Reality Pixie is another nice track to do some traveling as the sounds seem to opening up new places in their multi dimensional form, hovering and wrapping themselves around you.
All in all this could be one of my favorite morning albums as the dose of psychedelics and patterns unite to turn out one foot stomping session on the dance floor.
