Babar Luck's Amazing Journey

Babar Luck's Older Album Care in the CommunityPsychedelic Music, is just not about music, the word Psychedelic opens up a lot of doors for us to realize that the music is much more than complex loops and tweaks, its what happens to all of us on the dance floor. The feeling of being one, psychedelic music brings us together and does that mean that music that brings us together is Psychedelic?

On that note I would like to introduce you without any further delay to Babar Luck, well I hope you have already been influenced by Babar cause I regret not hearing his music earlier.

According to wiki,

Babar Luck is the former bassist of UK skacore band King Prawn. However he has also had success as a solo artist and recording with the collection of UK musicians known as Suicide Bid, and also The Babylon Whackers. Babar is notable for being one of the most colourful and eccentric members of the UK underground ska punk movement, instantly recognisable with his shaved head, large beard and Dr Martins.

His music often includes anecdotes about people he has known and his own experiences, strong political messages and 'pro-love' spiritual themes.

But lets hear it from Babar himself,

I heard Babar Luck's latest album called Journeys, a live version recorded at the Numoonfest 2008, Rotterdam, Holland.

But this version does not do justice to the album, the album has a heavy influence of eastern music, certain parts are in Hindi while it suddenly takes off into another style. The album is multi layered you can find three instruments playing simultaneously with his Jimi Hendrix kind of vocals :)

But what stikes a chord the most are the lyrics that speak of reality, equality, peace and the concept of one! Thank you Babar Luck, hope to hear much more of your creations.

Interesting blogs you have here. A friend of mine has been investigating the connections between mysticism and music. He happened to do a very good interview on Redicecreations.com

Ezra Sandzer-Bell joins us to discuss his blog "Hidden Origins of Western Musick" and Synchromusic(k)ology, the art of encoding cultural meaning into Western Music through esoteric analysis. We talk about Ezra's background in music, Western Music, Structure, Scales, Notes, Tones, geometry, the Black and White Keys, the freemasonic "G", Solfeggio Scale, emotions connected with music, music as manipulation and much more. We continue in our members section to discuss the Nazi origins of the A 440 tuning, the connection to the Great Pyramid, more on Synchromusichology, frequency, coral castle, levitation. We'll also talk about a few bands and that we should be more conscious of the music we listen to. Towards the end we'll talk about how spirituality and awareness ties in with nutrition. Fractal food and how important it is to be aware what we put into our bodies, Ezra has some tips to share with us about this. Don't miss this very interesting program.
